Our Services

Athena Ventures is a Gibraltar-based advisory firm providing expert guidance to individuals and businesses providing advice on taxation, residency and business establishment in Gibraltar.

We have a wide-ranging understanding of international tax principles, which allows us to work effectively alongside tax advisers and other professionals based outside of Gibraltar. Wherever possible, we will seek to implement our advice and provide ongoing involvement and support throughout your engagement with us.

We aim to form longstanding, open relationships with our clients built on mutual trust, discretion, and a commitment to delivering clear, practical outcomes.

How We Work

We believe in providing a highly personal service. Your work will be handled directly by a director of the firm, ensuring consistent quality, clear communication, and senior oversight at every stage.

We are happy to have an initial discussion or exchange of correspondence about your requirements, at no charge, to establish whether and how we can assist. However, any suggestions or ideas expressed in such preliminary discussions should not be construed as formal advice and cannot be relied upon as a substitute for written advice provided under a formal engagement.

Fees

If you would like to engage our services, we will set out the basis of our fees with you in advance of commencing work. We are transparent about our charging and will always seek to agree the most appropriate fee structure for the nature of your matter.

Anti-Money Laundering, Counter Terrorist Financing & Proliferation Financing

Athena Ventures is subject to AML/CTF/PF supervision by the Gibraltar Financial Services Commission under the Proceeds of Crime Act 2015 and associated regulations. Before we can commence services, all prospective clients are required to complete our client onboarding procedure. As part of this process, we are required to obtain and verify the following:

• Proof of identity (for example, a certified copy of a valid passport or national identity card);
• Proof of address (for example, a recent utility bill or bank statement dated within the last three months);
• Evidence of source of wealth and/or source of funds relevant to the matter;
• Ongoing monitoring throughout the duration of our engagement; and
• Record keeping in accordance with our regulatory obligations.

We appreciate that providing this information can feel administratively burdensome, and we endeavour to make the process as straightforward as possible. Please be aware, however, that we are unable to act on your behalf until the onboarding process is satisfactorily completed.
